This was the last event in a series commissioned by the Government’s Cities and Local Growth Unit. The event aimed to help local institutions develop their approach to economic recovery in 2021 and beyond. Speakers provided evidence-based insights into some of the most important issues facing business post-Covid, including:
- Debt and access to finance
- Working from home and the adoption of new technology
- Supply chains
- Changing consumer needs.
Professor Henry Overman from What Works Growth led the event.
The second half of the seminar consisted of discussion and questions aimed at sharnig learning and insights between participants and with the speakers.
