What does the evidence say about enterprise zones? Enterprise zones, investment zones, opportunity zones—there are a number of area-based initiatives out there. They aim to improve economic growth in a specific, well defined, local area or set of areas.

Do they improve productivity, employment, or wages within that area? What about the areas immediately outside?

Join us for a brief session sharing findings from our upcoming review of the evidence on the local economic impacts of enterprise zones. This is an update to our evidence review on area-based initiatives.

Victoria Sutherland, Deputy Director, Evidence at What Works Growth will present an overview from our new evidence briefing, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

This is the final Spring ‘Lunch and Learn’ session – feel free to attend them all, or pick and choose; each is a standalone session on one topic.

To be alerted to future sessions of our Lunch and Learn series or other events and training opportunities, make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter.
