Many local authorities are considering how to support local businesses through access to finance. What does the evidence say about economic impact of community finance interventions? Do these have different benefits or costs than wider access to finance programmes?

Join us for a brief session sharing findings from our recent review of the evidence on the local economic impacts of community finance and a discussion of how to think through the possible benefits.

Victoria Sutherland, Deputy Director, Evidence at What Works Growth will present our new evidence briefing, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

This is the third of four ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions taking place across the Spring – feel free to attend them all, or pick and choose; each is a standalone session on one topic.
