Julián is a Research Assistant at the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth. He received a B.A. in Economics and an LL.B. in Law from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. He is currently an M.Sc. Economics student at LSE.
Prior to joining the Centre, Julián worked for the Constitutional Court of Colombia on cases about social security, public utilities, taxation and human rights based approaches to data collection. Previously, he worked for the central bank of Colombia (Banco de la República) as an analyst at the Department of International Investments and as an intern at the Department of Macroeconomic Modelling.
